Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
The age limit varies for each post. Key age limits are mentioned below. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.
- Staff Nurse: Up to 45 Years
- Lady Health Visitor: Up to 45 Years
- Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop): Not exceeding 30 Years
- Chargeman (Ammunition and Explosive): Not exceeding 30 Years
- Chargeman (Naval Aviation): Between 18-30 Years
- Pharmacist, Fire Engine Driver, Fireman, Draughtsman (Construction): Between 18-27 Years
- Assistant Artist Retoucher, Cameraman: Between 20-35 Years
- Most other Chargeman posts, Store Superintendent, Storekeeper, Tradesman Mate, MTS posts: Between 18-25 Years
Educational Qualification
- Staff Nurse: Matriculation or equivalent and Certificate of training in an approved Hospital as a Nurse.
- Chargeman (various fields): Generally a Degree in Science with Physics/Chemistry/Maths OR a Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized University/Board.
- Tradesman Mate: 10th Standard pass from a recognized Board/Institution and a Certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the relevant trade.
- Fireman: 12th class pass from a recognized Board. Must meet specified physical standards.
- MTS (Ministerial/Non-Industrial): Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution. For some posts, proficiency in trade is required.
- Civilian Motor Driver: Matriculation from a recognized Board, must possess a driving license for Heavy Vehicles and Motor Cycles, and have one year of practical experience.
- Storekeeper: 10+2 or equivalent with one-year experience in stores work.
- Pharmacist: 12th class pass with Science subjects and Diploma in Pharmacy.
