Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

(As on 01.01.2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age (General): 37 years
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (SC, BC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen, etc.) as per Punjab Government rules.

Educational Qualification

• Senior Assistant:
  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.
  • Possess at least a 120-hour computer course or an 'O' Level certificate.
  • Must qualify a typing test in English and Punjabi.
• Junior Auditor (Local Audit Wing):
  • B.Com (1st Division) or M.Com (2nd Division).
• Junior Auditor (Treasury & Accounts):
  • B.Com (1st Division) or M.Com (2nd Division).
  • Must qualify an English typing test with a speed of 30 words per minute.
• District Treasurer:
  • Graduate from a recognized university.
• Treasury Officer:
  • Graduate from a recognized university (Preference will be given to Commerce Graduates).
• Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil):
  • Graduate in Civil Engineering (1st/2nd Class) or AMIE (Civil) with relevant experience. OR
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering with relevant experience.
• Section Officer (Civil):
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or a higher qualification.
• Section Officer (Electrical):
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a higher qualification.
• Mandatory for all posts: Candidates must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject.
