Vacancy Details
FACT is recruiting for the following posts on a Fixed Tenure Contract (Adhoc basis):
- Technician (Instrumentation)
- Craftsman (Machinist)
- Craftsman (Auto Electrician)
The total number of vacancies will be announced based on the company's requirements.

- Exam Date (Tentative): No written test, selection via merit-based shortlisting.
Eligibility Criteria
The relevant date for determining all eligibility criteria is 01.11.2025.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 26 years as of 01.11.2025.
- Candidates should have been born on or between 01.11.1999 and 31.10.2007.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PWBD (40% and above): 10 years
Educational Qualification
- Technician (Instrumentation): Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
- Craftsman (Machinist): Standard X pass with a National Trade Certificate in the trade of Machinist.
- Craftsman (Auto Electrician): Standard X pass with a National Trade Certificate in the trade of Mechanic Auto Electrical and Electronics.
Note: For Craftsman (Machinist) and Craftsman (Auto Electrician) posts, candidates must submit a domicile certificate for the State of Kerala.
Selection Process
There will be no written test. Candidates will be shortlisted and ranked based on merit. The criteria for ranking are as follows:
- For Technician and Machinist: Preference will be given to candidates with completed Apprenticeship Training in FACT. This will be followed by the earlier year of passing the qualification and then the earlier date of birth.
- For Auto Electrician: The ranking will be based on the earlier year of passing the qualification, followed by the earlier date of birth.
Exam Syllabus: An exam syllabus has not been provided as the selection process is based on merit shortlisting and does not include a written test.
How to Apply
Candidates must follow a two-stage application process:
- Visit the official FACT website at www.fact.co.in and navigate to the "Careers" section.
- Fill in all the required details in the Online Application Form.
- Download the prescribed "Application Form" from the website. Fill it manually, affix a recent photograph, and sign it.
- Upload a scanned PDF copy of this manually filled Application Form in the designated area of the online portal.
- Submit the final online application by clicking the 'Submit' button on or before 4:00 PM on 15.11.2025.
- Send the original, uploaded Application Form along with self-attested copies of all relevant documents by Speed Post or Registered Post.
- The envelope must be superscribed with "Application for the post of (Post Name) - Ad.08/2025".
