Eligibility Criteria
All candidates must have passed the Matriculation examination with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject.
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025)
- General Category: 18 to 37 years.
- SC/BC of Punjab: Upper age limit is 42 years.
- State/Central Government Employees: Upper age limit is 45 years.
- Widows/Divorcees: Upper age limit is 40 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as per Punjab Government rules.
Educational Qualification
- Work Mistry: ITI Certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institute with at least two years of experience.
- Coupon Clerk: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) and a computer course of at least 120 hours, or an 'O' level certificate from DOEACC.
- Plumber: National Trade Certificate/National Apprenticeship Certificate in Plumbing/Fitter/Turner Trade with at least two years of experience.
- Carpenter: Trade certificate in Carpentry from an ITI with at least two years of experience.
- Telephone Operator: Bachelor's degree, a one-year Diploma in Hotel Reception and Book Keeping, and a computer course of at least 120 hours (or 'O' level certificate from DOEACC).
- Accountant: M.Com with 1st division from a recognized University/institution with at least five years of experience in a public sector undertaking or a limited company.
How to Apply
- Visit the official SSSB Punjab website at sssb.punjab.gov.in.
- Navigate to the "Online Applications" section and click on the link for Advertisement No. 06 of 2025.
- First, register by providing basic details to generate a unique Username and Password.
- Log in with your credentials and fill out the online application form with all required details.
- Upload scanned copies of your passport-sized photograph, signature, and necessary documents (educational qualifications, category certificate, etc.).
- After submitting the form, proceed to the fee payment link.
- Pay the application fee online through the provided gateway (Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI).
- After successful payment, download and take a printout of the final application form for your records.
Note for Previous Applicants: Candidates who had applied for posts under previous advertisements (02/2020, 06/2024, 09/2024) must log in with their old credentials, update their application form as per the new requirements, and resubmit it. They are not required to pay the application fee again.
