The recruitment aims to fill a total of 1100 Veterinary Officer posts. The category-wise distribution is as follows:
- General (Unreserved): 360
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 198
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 183
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 209
- More Backward Classes (MBC): 50
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 100

Application Fees
A one-time registration (OTR) fee is applicable for all candidates:
- General (Unreserved) / OBC (Creamy Layer) / MBC (Creamy Layer): ₹600
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/MBC-NCL/EWS) of Rajasthan: ₹400
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): ₹400
Candidates from states other than Rajasthan will be considered under the General category and must pay ₹600.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 20 to 40 years of age as of 01.01.2026.
- Special Relaxation: A relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit is provided for candidates who were within the age limit for the 2019 advertisement but have become overage by 01.01.2026.
- Age relaxation for reserved categories of Rajasthan will be applicable as per government rules.
Educational Qualification
- A Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) or its equivalent from a recognized university.
- Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.

Mandatory:
- Candidates must have temporary or permanent registration with the Rajasthan Veterinary Council, Jaipur by the last date of application.
- The compulsory internship must be completed before the date of the written examination.

- If you are a new user, complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process using your details and uploading required documents like your Aadhar card.
- Log in to the SSO portal, navigate to the Citizen Apps (G2C), and click on the "Recruitment Portal".
- Select the "Veterinary Officer Exam - 2025" application link.
- Your OTR data will be auto-filled. Complete the remaining sections of the application form.
- Upload your latest live photograph, signature, and left thumb impression.
- Pay the one-time registration fee online if not already paid.
- Review the application preview carefully before final submission.
- After submission, download and print a copy of the application form for your records.
