Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria, including age limit and educational qualification, will be determined as of 01/01/2026.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 27 years
  • Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-01-1999 and not later than 01-01-2008.
  • Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, etc.).

Educational Qualification

  • For LDC/JSA, DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (in all departments except those mentioned below): Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
  • For DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture, and Staff Selection Commission): Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

How to Apply

Candidates must apply online through the new SSC official website. Those who have not completed the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new portal (ssc.gov.in) must do so first.

  1. Visit the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in.
  2. If you are a new user, complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process by providing basic, additional, and contact details.
  3. Log in using your Registration Number and password.
  4. Find the "Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025" link under the 'Latest Notifications' tab and click on 'Apply'.
  5. Your details from the OTR will be auto-filled. Verify them and fill in the remaining application details.
  6. You will be required to capture a live photograph using your device's camera. Ensure good lighting and a plain background.
  7. Upload a scanned copy of your signature in the specified format.
  8. Pay the application fee online (if applicable).
  9. Preview the application form, submit it, and take a printout for your records.
