Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)

• For MTS & Havaldar in CBN: 18 to 25 years (Candidates born not before 02.08.2000 and not later than 01.08.2007).
• For Havaldar in CBIC & certain MTS posts: 18 to 27 years (Candidates born not before 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2007).
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.

Educational Qualification (as on 01/08/2025)

• Candidates must have passed the Matriculation (10th Class) Examination or equivalent from a recognized board.

How to Apply

1. Visit the new official SSC website: https://ssc.gov.in.
2. If you are a new user, complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process first. Note that OTR generated on the old website (ssc.nic.in) will not work.
3. Login using your Registration Number and password.
4. Navigate to the 'Live Examinations' section and click on the "Apply" link for 'Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025'.
5. Your basic information will be automatically filled from your OTR profile. Fill in the remaining details.
6. You will be prompted to capture a live photograph using your device's webcam. Ensure good lighting, a plain background, and do not wear a cap, mask, or glasses.
7. Upload a clear, scanned image of your signature in JPEG format (10 KB to 20 KB).
8. Select your preferred examination centers and give preferences for posts.
9. Preview your application to check for any errors before final submission.
10. Pay the application fee online if it applies to you.
11. After successful submission, download and print a copy of your application form for your records.
