Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Candidates must be between 18 to 25 years of age as on the closing date of the online application (23/08/2025).
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules:
  • SC/ST: 5 Years
  • OBC: 3 Years

Educational Qualification

1. For trades of Constable (Carpenter), Constable (Plumber), Constable (Painter), Constable (Electrician), Constable (Pump Operator) and Constable (Upholster):

• Matriculation or equivalent.
• AND
  • Two years certificate course from ITI in the relevant trade; OR
  • One year certificate course from ITI or a Government-affiliated Vocational Institute with at least one year of experience in the trade.

2. For trades of Constable (Cobbler), Constable (Tailor), Constable (Washerman), Constable (Barber), Constable (Sweeper) and Constable (Khoji/Syce):

• Matriculation or equivalent.
• Must be proficient in the respective trade.
• Must qualify the trade test conducted by the recruitment board.

3. For trades of Constable (Cook), Constable (Water Carrier) and Constable (Waiter):

• Matriculation or equivalent.
• AND
  • National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) level-I Course in food production or Kitchen from National Skill Development Corporation or recognized institutes.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of the following stages:

1. First Phase: Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
2. Second Phase: Written Examination (100 Marks).
3. Third Phase: Documentation, Trade Test (qualifying in nature), and Detailed Medical Examination (DME/RME).

2. Complete the 'One Time Registration' (OTR) process by providing basic details like name, mobile number, and email ID.
3. Log in using your Registration ID and password.
4. Find the advertisement for "RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (TRADESMAN)" and click on 'APPLY HERE'.
5. Fill out the online application form with all required details carefully.
6. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other necessary documents as per the specified format and size.
7. Pay the application fee online (if applicable).
