Educational Qualification

  • Executive (GS(X)/Hydro), Pilot, NAOO, ATC: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Logistics: BE/B.Tech with First Class, or MBA with First Class, or B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc.(IT) with First Class & PG Diploma in specified fields, or MCA/M.Sc (IT) with First Class.
  • NAIC: BE/B.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks in specified engineering streams (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, etc.).
  • Law: A degree in Law with a minimum of 55% marks, qualifying for enrolment as an advocate.
  • Education: MSc/ME/M.Tech/BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in specified disciplines.
  • Engineering & Electrical (GS): BE/B.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks in specified engineering streams.
  • Naval Constructor: BE/B.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks in specified engineering streams (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Naval Architecture, Ship Building).

Selection Process

The selection procedure for the Indian Navy SSC Officer entry is as follows:

  1. Shortlisting: Applications will be shortlisted based on the normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
  2. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an SSB (Services Selection Board) interview.
  3. Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a medical examination.
  4. Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on SSB marks for candidates who are medically fit.
