The JKSSB has announced a total of 621 vacancies for various posts. The breakdown for some of the major posts is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)
- Open Merit (OM): 40 Years
- SC/ST/RBA/ALC-IB/EWS/OBC: 43 Years
- Physically Challenged Person (PwD): 42 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: 48 Years
- Government Service/Contractual Employment: 40 Years
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the required educational qualification on or before the cut-off date (03.09.2025). The qualifications for some of the key posts are:
- Female MPHW: Matriculation or above with Science & Diploma in FMPHW from a recognized institute.
- Junior Pharmacist: 10+2 with Science and a Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institute.
- Driver: Matriculation or above with a valid HGV/PSV Driving License.
- Junior Staff Nurse/Staff Nurse G-II: Matriculation or above with Science and a diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized institute.
- Para Medical Assistant: 10+2 with a Diploma in Para Medical Assistant Course from a recognized institute.
- Junior Laboratory Technician: Matriculation or above with a minimum two-year diploma in Lab Technician or a degree in Lab Technology.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on the merit obtained in an Objective Type, Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) based Written Examination.
- The examination will be conducted in English only.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- For certain posts like Driver, candidates will also have to qualify for a Driving Test to be eligible for the written examination.
