Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)

- BC/EBC (Male & Female): 40 years
- UR/EWS (Female): 40 years
- SC/ST (Male & Female): 42 years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for Persons with Disability (10 years) and other categories.
Educational Qualification
Senior Laboratory Technician:
- Option 1: M.Sc in Medical/Applied/General Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry (with or without DMLT) AND Two years of work experience in TB Laboratory Tests.
- OR
- Option 2: B.Sc in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Life science/Botany/Zoology with DMLT AND Three years of work experience in TB Laboratory Tests.
Laboratory Technician:
- Intermediate (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- The above qualification must be followed by a Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) or a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a recognized University/Institution.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a merit list prepared from the scores of a Computer Based Test (CBT) and work experience.
- Computer Based Test (CBT): 80 marks weightage. The test will have 75 questions for 75 marks, and the percentage score will be multiplied by 0.8. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
- Work Experience: Up to 20 marks for Lab Technicians who worked during the COVID-19 period (5 marks per year).
