Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 25/08/2025)
- Candidates must have completed 15 years of age.
- Maximum Age for Freshers & MLT: Should not have completed 22 years.
- Maximum Age for Ex-ITI: Should not have completed 24 years.

Age Relaxation:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 years
Educational Qualification
For Fresher Category:
- Fitter, Painter & Welder: Passed 10th Class with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
- Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT): Passed 12th Class with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
For Ex-ITI Category:
- Passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) or its equivalent.
- Must have passed ITI Course in the relevant trade from a Government recognized ITI.
- For specific trades like Electrician and Electronics Mechanic, Science (Physics & Chemistry) and Mathematics are required in the 10+2 system.
Note: The minimum 50% marks requirement in 10th standard is not applicable for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Selection Process
The selection for the apprenticeship program will be based on a merit list. There will be no written exam or interview. The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations as follows:
- Fresher Category: Based on marks obtained in Matriculation (10th standard).
- Ex-ITI Category: Based on marks in both Matriculation (50% weightage) and ITI (50% weightage).
- MLT Category: Based on marks obtained in Higher Secondary (12th standard).
