Age Limit

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Education: Must possess a Degree from a recognised University in India.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Shorthand (English) with a speed of 120 w.p.m.
    • Knowledge of computer operation with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' regular service in the cadre of Private Secretary/Senior PA/PA/Senior Stenographer in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Statutory bodies.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on the following stages and pattern:

1. Shorthand (English) Test

  • Speed: 120 words per minute
  • Duration: 7 minutes dictation
  • Transcription Time: 45 minutes
  • Maximum Marks: 100
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50
  • Note: Maximum 5% mistakes are permissible. Marks will be graded based on the percentage of mistakes.

2. Objective Type Written Test

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Total Questions: 100
  • Maximum Marks: 100
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50 (for General category) and 45 (for reserved categories)
  • Syllabus Breakdown:
    • General English: 25 questions
    • General Knowledge: 25 questions
    • Provisions relating to the Judiciary in the Constitution of India: 25 questions
    • Supreme Court Rules, 2013: 15 questions
    • Knowledge of Computer Operation: 10 questions

3. Typing Speed Test on Computer

  • Minimum Speed: 40 words per minute
  • Duration: 10 minutes
  • Maximum Marks: 20
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 10 (for General category) and 5 (for reserved categories)
  • Mistake Allowance: 2% for General category, 3% for reserved categories.

4. Interview

  • Maximum Marks: 30
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 15 (for General category) and 13 (for reserved categories)

5. Weightage

  • Candidates possessing a Degree in Law will be given a weightage of 03 marks.
