Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 30 years
  • Maximum Age: 45 years
    The cut-off date for determining the age limit is 01.07.2025. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per Government of India rules.

Educational Qualification & Experience

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  1. A Degree from a recognised University in India.
  2. Proficiency in English Shorthand with a speed of 120 words per minute (w.p.m.).
  3. Knowledge of computer operation with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m. on a computer.
  4. A minimum of 5 years of regular service in the cadre of Private Secretary/Senior PA/PA/Senior Stenographer in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Statutory bodies.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of the following stages:

  1. Shorthand (English) Test: 120 w.p.m. for 7 minutes. (100 Marks)
  2. Objective Type Written Test: 100 questions covering General English, GK, Judiciary in the Constitution, Supreme Court Rules, and Computer Knowledge. (100 Marks)
  3. Typing Speed Test on Computer: Minimum speed of 40 w.p.m. (20 Marks)
  4. Interview: (30 Marks)
  5. Weightage: 03 marks will be given to candidates possessing a Law Degree.

Candidates who qualify the Shorthand and Written tests will be called for the Typing Test. Those who qualify the Typing Test will be shortlisted for the Interview.
