A total of 455 vacancies have been announced for the post of Security Assistant (Motor Transport) across various Subsidiary Intelligence Bureaux (SIB). The category-wise distribution is as follows:

Application Fees
- Male candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories: ₹650/- (₹100 Examination Fee + ₹550 Recruitment Processing Charges)

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years of age as of 28/09/2025.

- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Other categories as per Government of India rules.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the following qualifications as of the closing date (28/09/2025):
- Matriculation (10th class pass) from a recognized Board.
- Possession of a valid driving license for Motor Cars (LMV).
- Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (ability to remove minor vehicle defects).
- Experience of driving a Motor Car for at least one year after obtaining the valid driving license.
- Possession of a domicile certificate of the state against which the candidate has applied.
Desirable Qualification: Possession of a valid driving license for Motorcycle.

The selection process will consist of two tiers:
- Tier-I Exam: An online objective-type MCQ exam of 100 marks. There will be a negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer.
- Tier-II Exam: A practical test including Motor Mechanism & a Driving Test cum Interview. This will be of 50 marks and is qualifying in nature (minimum 40% marks required).
Final selection will be based on the combined performance in the Tier-I and Tier-II exams.
