NHPC Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 248 Non-Executive Posts

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- The maximum age limit for all posts is 30 years as on the last date of application.

Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD (General): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
Educational Qualification
- Assistant Rajbhasha Officer: Master's degree in Hindi with English as an elective subject at the degree level OR Master's degree in English with Hindi as an elective subject at the degree level. Requires three years of post-qualification experience.
- Junior Engineer (Civil): Full-time three years regular Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Junior Engineer (Electrical): Full-time three years regular Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Junior Engineer (Mechanical): Full-time three years regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Junior Engineer (E & C): Full-time three years regular Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
- Supervisor (IT): Graduate with DOEACC 'A' level course OR Three years polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science/IT OR BCA/BSc (Computer Science/IT).
- Sr. Accountant: Inter CA Pass or Inter CMA Pass.
- Hindi Translator: Master's degree in Hindi with English as an elective subject OR Master's in English with Hindi as an elective. Requires one-year post-qualification experience.
Note: For all Junior Engineer posts, higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/B.E. without the essential full-time regular Diploma are not eligible.
Selection Process
The selection process will be based on a Computer Based Online Test (CBT) and/or a Written Test.
- For JE, Supervisor (IT), and Sr. Accountant: The test will have 200 questions (140 from the concerned discipline, 30 General Awareness, 30 Reasoning) to be completed in 3 hours.
- For Assistant Rajbhasha Officer and Hindi Translator: The test will consist of 40 MCQs, 10 descriptive questions from the discipline, 30 MCQs on General Awareness, and 30 MCQs on Reasoning.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong MCQ answer.

- Read all instructions carefully to ensure you meet the eligibility criteria.
- Fill out the online application form with the correct details and submit it. An Application ID will be generated.
- Keep scanned copies of your Matriculation certificate, qualification certificates/mark sheets, caste certificate, and disability certificate (if applicable) ready.
- Upload your latest photograph and signature as per the given instructions.
- Take a printout of the final registration form for your future reference.
