Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 04/09/2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 32 Years
- Candidates must be born on or before 03/09/2004 and on or after 05/09/1993.

Age Relaxation:
- SC, ST, SEBC & Women: 5 years
- PwDs: 10 years
- PwDs belonging to SC/ST/SEBC categories: 15 years
Educational Qualification
- A candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.
- A minimum speed of 80 words per minute (wpm) in shorthand.
- A minimum speed of 40 words per minute (wpm) in typewriting.
- Adequate knowledge of Computer Applications.
Selection Process
The selection process for the Junior Stenographer post will consist of three stages:
- Qualifying Test in English Subject (100 Marks): Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks (35% for General, 30% for SC/ST) to be eligible for the next stage.
- Computer Application Test (Qualifying, 100 Marks): This test is qualifying in nature. Candidates must secure at least 50% marks to proceed to the Skill Test.
- Skill Test (Shorthand and Typewriting, 100 Marks): The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured in this test.
