Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
The age of the candidate will be calculated as of the date of publication of the advertisement.
- General (Open): 21 - 38 years
- SC/ST/OBC/SBC (Maharashtra): 21 - 43 years
- High Court/Government Employees: Minimum 21 years, No upper limit
Educational Qualification
Stenographer (Higher Grade):
- Must possess a University Degree (Preference will be given to Law Graduates).
- Must have passed English Shorthand examination with a speed of 100 w.p.m. or above.
- Must have passed English Typing examination with a speed of 40 w.p.m. or above.
- Must possess a Certificate regarding computer knowledge as specified in the official notification.
Stenographer (Lower Grade):
- Must possess a University Degree (Preference will be given to Law Graduates).
- Must have passed English Shorthand examination with a speed of 80 w.p.m. or above.
- Must have passed English Typing examination with a speed of 40 w.p.m. or above.
- Must possess a Certificate regarding computer knowledge as specified in the official notification.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on merit determined by performance in the following tests:
- Shorthand Test (40 Marks)
- Typing Test (40 Marks)
- Viva-voce (20 Marks)
Candidates must secure minimum passing marks in each stage to be eligible for the next.
