Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: There is no maximum age limit for any category (including SC/ST/SCA/BCM/BC/MBC&DNC and OC) as a one-time measure. Applicants should not have completed 60 years of age.
Educational Qualification (as on 27.10.2025)
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Must have passed plus two (HSC) with Biology or Botany and Zoology.
- Must have passed the Tamil Language as a subject at the SSLC level.
- Must possess a Two-year Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) / Health Inspector/ Sanitary Inspector Course Certificate from a recognized institution.
- One-Time Relaxation: Candidates with a one-year Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) / Sanitary Inspector Course certificate are also eligible to apply as a one-time measure.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on marks obtained in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and incentive marks for COVID-19 duty service. The process includes:
- Tamil Language Eligibility Test: This test is qualifying in nature (40% marks required). Marks will not be considered for the final ranking.
- Computer Based Test (CBT): A 100-mark objective type test on the relevant subject.
- Incentive Marks: Additional marks will be awarded for service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- There will be no oral test for this recruitment.
