Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria as of 01/07/2025.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years

Age Relaxation:
Upper age limit is relaxable as per government norms for reserved categories:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • Persons with Disability (Gen/EWS): 10 years
  • Persons with Disability (OBC): 13 years
  • Persons with Disability (SC/ST): 15 years
  • Ex-servicemen: 5 years

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute. Professional qualifications like CA, Cost Accountant, Engineering, or Medical are also eligible.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank. Experience in NBFCs, cooperative banks, Payment Banks, etc., will not be considered.
  • Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the local language of the state they are applying for.

Bank of Baroda LBO Salary

Selected Local Bank Officers will receive an attractive salary package. Here’s a simple breakdown of the pay and other benefits:

Component Details
Starting Basic Pay Your salary will start at ₹48,480 per month.
Pay Scale The full pay scale is ₹48,480 – ₹85,920. This means your basic pay will increase regularly over the years as per the bank's rules.
Allowances In addition to the basic pay, you will get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), and other benefits. These allowances significantly increase your total monthly "in-hand" salary.
Advance Increment If you have one or more years of experience as an officer, you will get one extra increment in your starting pay.
Probation Period You will be on probation for 1 year after joining.
Service Bond You must sign a bond to work for the bank for at least 3 years. If you leave before that, a penalty of ₹5,00,000 + tax will be charged.
