Important Dates

Stipend Details

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act and government rules.

• Diploma Apprentice Trainees: ₹ 8,000/- per month
• ITI Apprentice Trainees: ₹ 7,000/- per month

Application Fees

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they meet all the eligibility conditions before applying.

Age Limit (as on 31/07/2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 27 Years
• Age Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, and Persons with Disability (PWD) candidates will be provided as per the Government of India rules.

Educational Qualification

• Technician (Diploma Apprentice):

  • A Diploma in Engineering or Technology in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • The diploma must be from a State Council or Board of Technical Education, a University, or an Institute recognized by the State/Central Government.
  • Crucially, only candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in the years 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible to apply.

• Trade (ITI Apprentice):

  • A certificate in a Vocational Course (in Machinist, Fitter, or Electrician trade) from NCVT or SCVT Boards.
  • The course must involve two years of study after the secondary stage of school education and be recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education.
  • Only candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in the years 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible.

Other Important Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates with higher qualifications than those prescribed are NOT eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship Training elsewhere are NOT eligible.
• Candidates with more than one year of work experience are NOT eligible.

Selection Process

The selection of apprentices will be done through a merit-based process. There will be no written test or interview.

1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the marks obtained in their qualifying examinations (Diploma/ITI).
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for the verification of their original documents.
3. Medical Fitness: Final selection is subject to the candidate producing a Medical Fitness Certificate from an authorized medical officer of a Government Hospital.

How to Apply

The application process involves mandatory online portal registration followed by offline and email submission of the application form.

1. Portal Registration (Mandatory):

   • Diploma Candidates: Must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in.
   • ITI Candidates: Must register on the Apprenticeship portal at www.apprenticeshipindia.org.
   • The registration number obtained from the portal is mandatory and must be mentioned in the application form.

2. Fill Application Form:

   • Download and print the application form (Annexure-I) provided in the official notification.
   • Fill in all the details accurately in capital letters.
   • Affix one self-attested recent passport-size photograph.

3. Prepare Documents:

   • Arrange self-attested photocopies of all the documents listed below.

4. Submit the Application (Dual Process):

   • By Speed Post: Send the completed application form along with all the required documents to the following address:

1. 10th & 12th Mark sheet and Certificate
2. Diploma/ITI Mark sheets (for all semesters/years)
3. Provisional Certificate (PC) for Diploma/ITI
4. Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC), if applicable
5. PWD Certificate, if applicable
6. Photo ID card issued by Govt. of India (Preferably Aadhaar Card)
7. EWS Certificate, if applicable
8. Police Verification Certificate (from District Authority)
9. Registration certificate from NCVT/NATS portal (Mandatory)
10. Medical Fitness Certificate
11. Details of BANK ACCOUNT WITH AADHAR SEEDED (Copy of the front page of Passbook)
12. Two Passport size photographs
