Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 01/08/2022)

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age:
  • Unreserved / EWS: 35 Years
  • Extremely Backward Classes (Annexure-I) / Backward Classes (Annexure-II): 37 Years
  • Female (UR/EBC-I/BC-II): 38 Years
  • SC / ST (Male & Female): 40 Years
• Age Relaxation: Applicable for PwBD (10 years) and Ex-Servicemen (5 years) as per government norms.

Educational Qualification

1. Educational Degree: A Bachelor's degree in any branch of engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
2. Work Experience: A mandatory two (02) years of practical work experience in a related engineering branch after obtaining the educational qualification. The experience must be from an organization registered under the Companies Act, 1956, a Public Sector Undertaking, or a Government department.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official JPSC website: www.jpsc.gov.in.
2. Use the "One Time Registration (OTR)" system to register if you are a new user.
3. Log in and fill out the online application form for "Jharkhand Labour Service (Technical) Cadre - Inspector of Factories (Direct Recruitment) Examination".
4. Carefully enter all required details and upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature.
5. Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
6. Submit the final application form and download a copy of the filled application.
7. Crucially, send a self-attested hard copy (printout) of the completed application form along with self-attested copies of all required documents (educational certificates, experience certificate, caste certificate, etc.) by Speed Post/Registered Post or by hand.
8. The envelope must be superscribed with "विज्ञापन संख्या-01/2025", the Examination Name, Applicant's Name, and Registration No. in bold letters. It must reach the "Controller of Examination, Jharkhand Public Service Commission, Circular Road, Ranchi, 834001" by 5:00 PM on 13th August 2025.
