Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025)

• Assistant Superintendent: 21 to 27 years.
• Warder/Matron: 18 to 27 years.
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Punjab government rules.

Educational Qualification

• Assistant Superintendent: A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.
• Warder/Matron: Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) and passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a subject.

Physical Standards

• Warder (Male):
  • Height: 5' 7" (5' 4.5" for Dogras & Gurkhas)
  • Chest: 33" (unexpanded) to 34.5" (expanded)
• Matron (Female):
  • Height: 5' 3"
  • Weight: 50 Kg and above
• Vision (For both posts): Normal in both eyes (with or without spectacles). Candidates must not be color-blind.

Selection Process

The selection process will include:

1. An Objective Type (MCQ) written examination.
2. A mandatory qualifying test in the Punjabi language (10th standard level).
3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for qualified candidates.
4. Document Verification.
