Selection Process

The selection process for the Sub-Assistant Engineer post will be conducted in two successive stages:

  1. Written Test (200 marks): An OMR-based written examination consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions (2 marks each). There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer. The duration of the test will be 1.5 hours.
  2. Personality Test (40 marks): Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for a personality test, subject to verification of original documents.

Exam Syllabus:

As per the official notification, questions will be set based on the course content of the Diploma Level Examination in the respective engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) as approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).
