Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
The age of the candidate will be determined as on the last date of submission of the application.
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 32 years
Age Relaxation:
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years (upper age limit of 37 years)
- Government Employees: Relaxation equal to the years of service, subject to a maximum of 5 years.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess the minimum educational qualification of Class-VIII (8th) standard.
- Candidates who have passed HSSLC (12th) or above are ineligible to apply.
- Candidates must be an indigenous inhabitant of the State of Nagaland belonging to one of the following tribes: Any Naga Tribes, Kuki, Kachari, Garo, or Mikir.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of two stages:
- Written Examination (50 marks): An objective type test (MCQs) of 90 minutes duration.
- Interview/Viva-Voce (20 marks): Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their merit in the written examination. A candidate must secure at least 60% (12 out of 20 marks) in the interview to be considered qualified.
