Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be Indian Citizens and permanent residents of Assam.
Age Limit
- Candidates should be between 21 to 38 years of age as of 01-01-2025.

- SC/ST: 5 years (up to 43 years)
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years (up to 41 years)
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Maximum 50 years (with further relaxations for reserved categories)
Educational Qualification

For Urban Technical Officer (Civil Engineer/Public Health Engineer):
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from an AICTE recognized university/institute.
- OR, Passed (Part A & B) of AMIE (India) in Civil Engineering, if enrolled on or before 31.05.2013.

For Urban Technical Officer (Mechanical Engineer):
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from an AICTE recognized university/institute.
- OR, Passed (Part A & B) of AMIE (India) in Mechanical Engineering, if enrolled on or before 31.05.2013.

For Urban Technical Officer (Electrical Engineer):
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from an AICTE recognized university/institute.
- OR, Passed (Part A & B) of AMIE (India) in Electrical Engineering, if enrolled on or before 31.05.2013.

For Urban Technical Officer (Environmental Engineer):
- B.E./B.Tech in Environmental Engineering OR B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with Masters in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering from an AICTE recognized university/institute.
- OR, Passed (Part A & B) of AMIE (India) in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with a Master's degree as specified above, if enrolled on or before 31.05.2013.
Selection Process
The selection procedure will be notified later by the Commission through a corrigendum/addendum if required.
