Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • Group A (Except Assistant Librarian): 40 years
  • Assistant Librarian: Below 62 years
  • Group B: 35 years
  • Group C: 32 years

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India norms:

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • PwBD (UR): 10 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 years

Educational Qualification

  • Assistant Librarian: Master's Degree in Library Science (or equivalent) with at least 55% marks, a good academic record, and must have cleared the NET/SLET/SET or hold a Ph.D.
  • Assistant Registrar: Master's Degree with at least 55% marks.
  • System Programmer: B.E./B.Tech with 5 years of programming experience OR M.E./M.Tech/MCA with 3 years of programming experience.
  • Senior Assistant: Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience as an Office Assistant/UDC or equivalent. Proficiency in typing and computer applications.
  • Office Assistant: Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Must have a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.
  • Junior Office Assistant: Bachelor's Degree with proficiency in computer operations and a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.
  • Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in handling sophisticated scientific instruments.
  • Laboratory Attendant: 10+2 with Science stream OR 10th Pass with Science and a skill certificate in Laboratory Technology.
  • Library Attendant: 10+2 or equivalent with a Certificate course in Library Science and 1 year of relevant experience.

Selection Process

The selection process involves a multi-stage evaluation. Candidates will first appear for an objective-type written test (Paper-I). Those who qualify will have their descriptive test (Paper-II) evaluated. Candidates who clear both papers will be called for a Skill Test, which is qualifying in nature. For certain Group A and B posts, there is also a final interview.

  3. Complete the registration process and confirm it via the link sent to your registered email.
  4. Log in with your credentials and fill in the application form with all required details.
  5. Scan and upload your photograph, signature, and other necessary documents (caste, PwBD, experience certificates, etc.).
  6. Pay the application fee online using Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or IMPS.
  7. Review and submit the application form. Note that no changes can be made after final submission.
